He was testing you first. He wasn't sure if he should kiss you directly on the lips. We guys usually do the triple kiss where we kiss you on both the cheeks...and if you seem compliant enough, we go for the lips. If we sense discomfort, then we back off and the kiss on the cheek would simply be a "friendly" kiss. It's the perfect method.
The same thing (though a cuter version) is via the nose, forehead, and then lips.
Some of the questions on here. You're fixating on what a kiss on the nose could possibly mean whilst he also kissed you on the lips.
Dont get me wrong, it might just be painfully clear because I'm a bystander but I reckon he might possibly maybe slightly kinda be interested in you.
