What does it mean when a girl looks down when you walk past each other?

So in college campus when I walk past some girl that I think is hot I usually look down when we get closer. Do girls do this for the same reason? or do they do it Because they don't like the guy? Because I've had quite a few girls do that to me.

Well you're doing it so you don't get caught staring at her. She MAY be doing the same thing OR she may be averting her eyes so you don't get the impression that she's interested in you.
