People with dark or very tan skin, can you blush?

My face gets red when I cry, but yesterday my supervisor said I was blushing. I am of a darker skin color so I didn't think blushing was actually possible for me. Do you think she was just saying that? My skin tone is pretty dark, like a darker caramel color.

Of course they can, and they do. It's just that it's much harder to see on darker skin. But the biology that creates a blush in one person creates it in all people.

Blushing is when you get red cheeks. Both it also deal with your facial movements like wide eyes or eyes looking down, puckered lips and etc.

Yes, I’m tan and I blushed a lot when I’m embarrassed, guilty, and when I like someone but when I don’t feel any of those, I don’t blush but I still have rosy cheeks.
