Dad embarrassed me in front of my boyfriend?

Ok, so I was with my boyfriend today and then my dad came in the room and announced that I forgot to ... uh flush (yes I know it's gross...). I'm scared that my boyfriend won't like me anymore and think I'm nasty and dirty ):. Omg... I feel horrible... Will he break up with me?

Awww that's so CRUEL of your dad DX No, I highly doubt your boyfriend would dump you for that :) He and I think majority of people would just forget it within a few days and just carry on as normal- besides, relationships naturally become more comfortable so things like that are even commonly discussed and seen as humourous. If he likes you, and even if he didn't, I doubt anyone would dump someone for something so tiny and petty as that xD Don't be worried :) He's probably worse in the toilet xD Soon as the relationship gets closer, he'll probably end up doing what my boyfriend does and scream out of the bathroom door ''Wow Rebecca! This sh*t is wider than your leg!'' or something equally as charming, so ''you didn't flush'' is no concern xD

If he is honestly ignoring you just because of that, then he is a jerk- oh my god I can't believe anyone would ignore someone for something so insignificant! D: Is he just not replying to your texts or something? :o Maybe he's busy or something- it may not necessarilly be something bad :)

Well he pretty much always responds to my texts... so I think he's ignoring me. ): I guess it's my own fault.. ._. Ugh I'm so mad at myself...

Its not your fault! :O Everyone doesn't bother with stuff regarding the toilet and bathroom hygiene sometimes! :) Once early in my relationship with my boyfriend after doing something pretty messy I washed my hands and he pointed out I didn't even bother to use soap, which was embarrassing- but guys I wouldn't have thought care about them things :) I mean, not flishing is so...unimportant :) I'm lazy and sometimes don't flush- unless your bfs a hygiene enthusiast Dl

Oh honey, if a guy breaks up with you over that, he wasn't worth your time to begin with. Just pretend like you think it's funny, laugh it off. Your boyfriend will appreciate that and you won't make it an awkward moment anymore.

Welcome to the hell of being a daughter in the USA. Dads will do whatever it takes to keep their little princess safe from boys. If you think you have it bad, imagine us guys trying to avoid a fight with dads, brothers, cousins, jealous ex's and so on over a girl who might not be our lifemate...or sex partner for that matter.
