What does it mean when a guy texts you at 3 am.. in this context.

I know that normally when a guy texts you in the wee hours of the morning he's looking for a booty call.

This morning I got a text from a guy I've been on 2 dates with saying "So sorry, busy day today! Home now :)xxx" We haven't had a lot of contact between date 2 and this text, and it has been 6 days since date 2. I text him not long after the date thanking him for it, and he responded 3 days later basically saying he was busy again. I text him the day after this and he replied quite quickly, and then I text him again. His response to this last text was the 3 am text.

Does this text mean he's thinking about me? Or is it a booty call text? Is he into me if he can only find the time to text me at 3am telling me he's home?

well, Id say it coul be any of the above, although I think its kind of disrespectful to text someone at that time of night. could have been a booty call, perhaps he was bored, maybe he was drunk. I've had it done to me before and most of the times its because they are bored.

He needs to get the boot. He texted you when he know you may not answer. Say "NEXT" and keep it moving
