What do you guys think of unreplied messages?

do you hate people that doesn't reply to your phone message? is it irritating? for me it is... it just makes me think that why they have a phone for right? do you think they saw the message?

It can be irritating but if it's so irritating that you get angry over it, then you should probably get anger management.

Although I find it annoying, I remember that not everyone is attached to their phones 24/7. If the person you're contacting is older than you, then the likelihood of them being textaholics is very slim. Answering their phone is not a big deal to them whereas it is for a young teen. I don't think they've seen the message and are ignoring me until a couple days have gone by. People do get busy. I do other things and completely forget about my phone and even forget I was having a conversation with my boyfriend before hand. It's easily done so you should cut them some slack and you should probably expect less from people when it comes to phones and replying, especially if you're someone who's by your phone 24/7 because not everyone is like you in that sense.

My boyfriend says he gets worried sometimes when I don't reply to his messages. He says he thinks something bad might have happened to me. But he doesn't get annoyed. He knows I maybe sleeping or busy.

As for me, I'm pretty patient. A text is just a text. If I need an urgent reply, I'll just call the person.

I wouldn't make a big deal over a text.

Don't assume anything negative..maybe they are just not constantly checking their messages. Maybe they are busy with real communication and don't have so much time for playing around on their phone!

I don't freak out really because I know they stuff to do as well as myself. It is kind of a hot topic though.

It is frustrating. But it happens to all of us. I wouldn't take it too personally.

I don't take it personally. If they don't reply, I just assume they are busy.
