Why do people read the entire message you sent them and then claim it is “unwanted”?

I sent someone a message that was about 500 characters long, and they reported me to the police, saying it was “unwanted.” If it was truly unwanted, then why did they read it?
If I don’t want to read any Game of Thrones books, I simply don’t read them.
If I sent them another message with 1,000 words, they would no doubt sit and read it instead of deleting it as soon as they saw it was from me and blocking me.

It being unwanted doesn't mean he shouldn't read it, you can read something you didn't ask for even if it's out of curiosity but I get what you are saying, sorta 💀
