A guy I know has done this several times to me. I'm surprised he keeps doing it.

What's the big deal? You're 30 and are afraid of a little touching. If he's deliberately gasping your hand or wrist he's flirting, if it's just a brush then you should expect it to happen unless he's throwing the pen to you.
