What's it mean when a guy uses words like "we" and "us"

A guy I've been getting to know for the last couple months has been using these words lately so I'm just curious. Any insight would be helpful thanks!

He doesn't want to see you guys as separate and would rather find it better by grouping you together. This usually means he wants a relationship or something, or it can mean he is comfortable with your presence as a friend

Well I think when someone starts to use the "us" and "we" words it means that they see you as a unit and also a future with this person.
