Guy friend uses "we"?

Anonymous

Okay, so I am not a dumb person, I understand that "we" means both "you and I" -- such as "we should do get lunch" or even "we are in big trouble"; however, I had read other places that when a person starts using "we" instead of "I" or "you" there is some significance. I am just asking if this is true for anyone one else's experience or how they function when they are around someone they are interested in:

Long and short -- I am interested in a guy, and I have this gut instinct that he is interested in me (we work together -- not the most ideal situation). There is just this tension? Feeling? Static? when we are around. I am not sure if it is just my interest manifesting these feelings or if they are mutual, but it feels like there is something there... anyways...

to the short part: he offered to help me with my computer because the audio would not work properly, and while he was working on it he kept saying "we can do this" and "let me know if this works so we can figure out." I was doing literally nothing except standing there watching him fix the dang thing. So, I was just curious do people inadvertently use "we" when they are interested in someone in places where "we" kinda does not make sense? I was not looking for anything, but it just caught me off guard as "we" were not doing anything; he was doing something essentially single-handedly, lol. No negativity please in the comments -- thanks for the responses!
