My boyfriend doesn't remember little things about me

he doesn't remember what my background is, or tiny things about me and I know its small but it still means something, what does this mean and what should I do?

Little things mean the most because they're unconsciously done. It's easy to say and do big and important things that our minds have had time to plan what to say and do. But it's the little things that are said and done on the spur of the moment that tells what the person is all about. If he can't remember the simple and tiny things about you then I say it's because they really didn't mean all that much to him when they were mentioned. A guy that really likes a girl soaks everything about her like a sponge. Now if the big things to him have to do with sex, or if he's all centered on himself, or someone else for that matter, then that would be a few reasons why his mind hasn't been truly interested in the tiny things about you that are really you. His perception of things doesn't seem to be centered on YOU. His mind has other things to think about. I'd say to just start paying more attention to that deficit of his to see it continues. Maybe test him out by randomly telling him something personal about yourself or what you've done, but don't make a big deal about it, and then bring it up in a week or so later to see if he remember what you mentioned. If he has a hard time remembering those little things and you know that otherwise he's completely normal, then you have a boyfriend on your hands that has his mind preoccupied on something or someone else. You need to find out what that something or someone is. You should expect that he remembers details about you as long as they're not too insignificant. Good luck!

You can't do anything about it.

Either he doesn't care, doesn't listen to you, or he has a problem with memory.

You can't fix any of those problems. So either learn to live with it and get over it, or leave him.

Keep on reminding him. Most of us can't remember what color undies we wore today anyway so you really can't expect him to remember and throw the faithful card at him.

you can't really do something about it
