What does it mean when a girl doesn't answer a certain question?

Hey all,

I have my favorite female friend and she can be busy at times, but I sometimes do text her a question and she doesn't seem to answer and I don't want to pester her with the same question all over again. So, what does it mean when a girl doesn't answer a question? When is the best to time to text again that wouldn't be too bothering?

like yaddayadda said if it is something important call her. To me I find texting tedious and often times things that could be a 5min phone convo, ends up being a several hour text convo or is jsut too difficult to really sit there and type on a phone.

Does she not respond for a while, and then switch to a different topic? Maybe she's not comfortable answering that question. Too personal maybe? Or something she just doesn't like to talk about. It really depends on what you're asking her.

Of course it could simply be because she's busy, and then just forgets about your question or your text in general.

Maybe its a sensitive subject to her.

Maybe she's embarrassed to answer.

Maybe she doesn't know how to answer.

I agree with other answers, call her and ask her or talk to her in person.

Ask her when it is clear she isn't busy.

We brought up an idea for a traveling trip and asked her if she's still interested... that's all.
