+1 yI would say so. I know a few girls whom are very close friends with me and they have told me things that will never be spoken again. I think every PERSON has things that they keep in a very deep place and would never share with anyone (or maybe with someone very close). There's certain things in life that we experience and learn from that never need to be spoken about. Some things we lie about or omit because it holds no current relevance but could still hurt someone you're with.

Yeah yeah! She's Mary Magdalene's doppelganger in the film. If you watch it, uh, bear in mind it's actually like, the literal official Nazi film of actual Nazi germany of the Actual Nazis as in the Actual National Socialists. Even though the film is produced and performed basically entirely by jews, LOLL.

"Treat women nicely, for a women is created from a rib, and the most curved portion of the rib is its upper portion, so, if you should try to straighten it, it will break, but if you leave it as it is, it will remain crooked. So treat women nicely." (Mohammed, on the paradoxical mystery of woman)
Anonymous(30-35)+1 yHer own secrets maybe. We all know women are actually conniving people.
She's not going to keep other people's secrets though. She might keep secret that she's revealing everyone else's. That's why you should never tell a woman anything too personal. Not to mention they'll use it against you in an upcoming argument.17 Reply- +1 y

10 Reply I have yet to meet anyone with interesting secrets, male or female, and I have yet to meet anyone who has an ocean worth of thoughts let alone secrets.

maybe they're keeping their secrets a SECRET. lmao. so...of course you wouldn't know about how interesting or not interesting those particular truths are.
- +1 y
The Internet is the breeding ground of nightmares. There are no "secrets" here because there is total anonymity here. Even in the deepest, darkest corners of the internet there's nothing new or shocking, regardless of sex.
To be honest there's not really a lot you CAN do that would be worthy of hiding from strangers. - +1 y
well, I didn't ask this question with respect to the internet only, I meant women in general.
and I don't agree with you on that. - +1 y
Well of course you don't. That's a given. The thing is the people on the women are on the internet are still women " in general ". That's why I brought it up, actually; how many women here would never say they cheated on their boyfriends in real life? Tons. All probably, as it's not something to be proud of, at least not seriously. Now how many MIGHT tell the truth on an anonymous poll? A decent percentage. Anonymity, invisibility, etc. works wonders on "Secrets".
- +1 y
i'm 'anonymous' on here yet I haven't spilled my secrets. nor do I plan to. maybe being a cheater or whatever isn't really much of a secret to begin with. or as you said not 'worthy of hiding from strangers'.
- +1 y
if no one you know hears your secret, does it mean that you never shared it? :p
- +1 y
Yes, actually. If the secret were so dark, so terrible, so evil, and so unspeakable it would not be spoken even under the total cover of darkness. Secrets are nothing more than manifestations of guilt or shame and as such the more reluctant the speaker the deeper the meaning behind the secret.
- +1 y
:o I have happy secrets toooo...not just dark ones.
you need a hug. - +1 y
Well of course, but happiness kept and not shared sounds less like secrecy and more like protection. The way I see it a secret is something of a burden. A "happy secret" is just something you cherish you don't want ruined; it is not so much a burden, even if malicious in nature, as it is a gem hidden away so as not to be tarnished or stolen.
Perhaps that's from seeing so many "secrets" though. Too many.

i'm still trying to purchase some magic beans. more difficult than I'd imagined.
- +1 y
Alright pocket rocket, here's your magic beans of the moment... I believe some women hold on to their true feelings, afraid to speak them aloud for what it might mean. They push them aside, and trying to make do for the time being. They keep them bottled up safe and sound. Then all at once a deluge of emotion hits them, and then they just have to let it out, that very moment, not a second more can pass, it has to be now. It might be 2:34 in the morning, but if it doesn't come out right now, it
- +1 y
may never be spoken aloud. I think in that way, a woman's heart is a deep ocean of secrets. They tend to surprise you with things that they have been holding on to for far too long. Not that those things don't seep out through he cracks and crevices for the watchful eye to spot long before they are ready. I guess it depends on the couple, and how transparent they are to each other, how much of a secret those feelings really are.
- +1 y
pocket rocket?! :p that's an interesting interpretation of this quotation. you put it in the context of love, emotions, relationships, etc. hmmmmm :D
- +1 y
i was thinking along any kind of secret, not just the ones related to love lol. like childhood secrets, school secrets, job secrets, etc. I guess I was thinking about it from rose's pov (from titanic).
- +1 y
And you don't think her point of view was strongly rooted in emotion? That one guy that really hit her heart hard, who showed her true romance and really made her float... Then sacrificed to saved her life. You don't think she bottled up that love her entire life, and compared every other man she ever meet against what she felt with him? She went on to live a full life, but Jack, well he was different right?
- +1 y
i don't think she compared other men to him because she already knew there was only one of him. but I do agree with you, her view WAS strongly rooted in emotion.
- +1 y
Point being though, that she bottled that up. She felt that way about that one man but didn't let it go, she lived a half-life with a different man giving a different kind of love to him that was not complete, had kids, grew old, and all that jazz but still felt deeply for that other man. I think women can have split secret emotions that they don't live. It can be as complicated as some love affair, or as basic as some we said to her at the wrong moment. Shell hold onto it until she's ready to
- +1 y
That's why many men see women as manipulative, and icy at times. They withhold feelings and thoughts, both good and bad. That can be holding negative feelings over our head and bringing them up in an argument a year after the fact, when she all the sudden decides to bring it to the surface, all the while we wonder why she didn't talk to us way back then about it, or it can mean holding out on letting us know how much she really cares for us, and we're like I wish you told me sooner.
- +1 y
i don't think it was a half-life... I think it was life that jack let her dream about and that she was able to fulfill with her husband. jack might have been her first love, but he wasn't the only man for her. I do agree with you that women tend to keep things in while men are more straightforward about their feelings and things that are bothering them. but there are definitely guys out there who are like to keep themselves guarded too. I don't think all men are as compelled by their emotions.
- +1 y
You don't think so huh? Look at a typical argument between a man and a woman. There's a problem, it's causing distress and anxiety for the man. He's living that emotion in that moment and wants to focus on facts and seek immediate resolution to that problem then and there. She on the other hand is trying to gather information with indirect questions, hides her feelings when directly confront on them, tries to tip toe around what she thinks he is feeling, etc. This leads to him questioning if
- +1 y
she's even listening to him, and why she's saying she's "fine" when she's obviously not. It frustrates him, maybe he raises his voice, or maybe he gives up and shuts down. He can't just shove that away and live with it, he has to walk through the paces.
That's not to say we are lose canons and can't control or focus our emotions, but when we have strong emotions we can't just tuck them away. - +1 y
hmmm... I don't know if all women are like that though. maybe when we're less mature... but I think the wiser we get, we become more able to directly state what's bothering us. I know I have. and not all dudes get frustrated. there are some guys out there who will give a woman space until she's ready to vocalize everything that's on her mind. but I know that kind of guy is really rare.
