I went to the trampoline park recently with my friends and when I jump, well, I get REALLY wet, to the point where it looks like I've peed myself

I love jumping! But this is just so embarrassing and uncomfortable, what should I do about it? should I wear a tampon when I go jumping?

As a trampolinist, I can answer this from experience :)

Firstly, it's a complete pain!

A tampon won't work, because your issue here is linked to your bladder. I bounce and compete frequently and just wear a sanitary towel or panty-liner when I do.

After a while you just don't even notice it anymore - I know one of my coaches does the same thing when she bounces too :)

You don't have to be, there just needs to be excess in the tube from your bladder to your? anyways, its the same deal with guys. We can shake all we want at the urinal and for some reason, it still leaks out a bit after.

Bladder muscles that are weak, underdeveloped or do not stay constricted during impact exercises does not mean that you are urinating, that is why it is called "Bladder Leakage". Pack a few napkins, take the advice from those that have that problem. I know a male that has the same problem, slightly more embarrassing for him. Both at the Tramp park and looking for a "male" designed "pad" for "Urinary incontinence". Do the same as the girls said, or buy a tramp and use it in private!

Like the guys said, it's not actual peeing - who would do that? But of course it's linked to your bladder, it's not getting wet for any other reason and definitely don't use a tampon. For a start, it won't help but also I'm pretty sure it's dangerous to use them when you don't need to because it can lead to toxic shock.

It's weakness of the muscles, not a big deal really, plenty of people have that problem.

Trust me - I've been trampolining for 14 years and coaching for 5 =p

work your kegels. You're very likely not getting "wet" but a combination of wetness and pee leaking out because you have weak pelvic floor muscles. Work your pelvic floor. This will also help tighten up your vagina

sorry, but it is. It is a mixture of female lubrication and pee (even from an empty bladder). This is pretty common for girls because a lot of them have weak pelvic floor muscles. I have done gymnastics for 14 years and you are leaking pee

I'm not a girl but I know a lot about the terrain. Lots of girls will have a little lapse of bladder control on something extreme happens. That can be a sneeze, hard laugh, an orgasm, or intense physical activity. A tampon will not prevent this because it is internal. you should probably wear a panty liner or a menstrual pad.

My girlfriend has a bit of flux herself and she uses a panty liner. I don't think using a tampon when you're not menstruating is healthy, have you ever heard of the toxic shock syndrome?

TS generally only applies to leaving a used tampon in too long. But I agree with your statement, all the girls I know with this problem use panty liners as well.
