Hey! I've punched guys in the arm before and my intension was never flirting. I did it because we were cool like that and I felt like they were cool people to hang with. I later realized people saw it as flirting. My girl friends would say I was a flirt lol. I only had one brother which I punched just for fun. I think it depends on the person because it could be either or.

I would say it's usually flirting because when a girl likes a guy she will try to get close and find a way to break the touch barrier. I tend to punch my male friends in the arm though and I'm not flirting. So I'd say if it's someone you know really well it might not be. If it's someone you recently met most likely. Depends. In the beginning it's nearly always flirting.

Once in a relationship it tends to be a way to communicate, "Don't ever say that again!" or something. And of course, it depends on how hard the punch was...

The first big step. It's hard to explain...some girls only view it as flirting if they're the ones doing it. If the guy breaks the touch barrier it can be uncomfortable for the girl. If she breaks it, then it's not uncomfortable...Idk. Hard to explain.

No, I know what you mean because I never touch a girl first because I don't want to be a creeper. I do get punched a lot, or slapped on the arm. But I didn't think of that as flirting really. It makes perfect sense what you are saying if the girl does it first them it is flirting

97% flirting. Some girls are naturally flirtatious and do it without even thinking but many do it and know they are flirting. Some rarer times (brothers good friends) it is just messin around. 25 to 29 eh?
