My boyfriend opens doors for me...?

So I met my first boyfriend in my life, and when we go out on dates he opens doors for me, gives me his coat when I am cold, calls a cab for me to go home etc.

Is this normal? I enjoy all those nice things he does for me very much, but I don't know what to do or how to react. I felt like I owe something to him and just walked through the doors and it was really awkward. What should I do? Should I thank him, or open doors for him, or ask him to stop doing that?

Guys, how do you expect your girlfriend to respond if you open doors for her?

Why can't women open doors themselves? Is it up to a man to open up the doors for her future? I don't like that. Sure it's polite I guess but it's really just the man trying to get good with the girl, not actually earning her respect. Why should he be cold and her warm? Is their more value in the less prepared individual?

But it clearly means that he wants to fuck you, so you can say thank you for trying to casually manipulate me.

opening door for others is basic courtesy, even for strangers we all do it too. he is your boyfriend naturally he would be sweet to you and being gentleman he would do the above, so it is normal
