Guys can have friends who are girls, your his favorite one hence you are dating. It is fairly redundant however couples say a fair bit to one another that is just redundant because saying 'I love you', 'your the best' gets a bit repetitive. I am sure you have said some redundant stuff to him before. The only difference is that if you assume that girls in his life are only girlfriends and nothing more, and that he is only referring to current girlfriends yes be worried. However I don't think either assumption is justified without knowing more.

Don't read into this or go back to him with this. Just will cause a problem. Unless your boyfriend is a jerk and would brag to u or tell u about him messing with other girls... he's just trying to tell you how much you mean to him. Or he can be saying literally you are his favorite girl. Is he close with sisters, mothers or other female relatives. He could be saying that.
Lol,
when I was a little girl I used to write on my Mother's Day card "to the best Mom in the world", or "you're my favorite Mom!!", for which I'm made fun of even today...
"How many moms do you have, honey?" >__<
Your bf isn't a kid anymore, but I'm thinking he might still be that naive...
Just tell him about it.
"Of course I'm your favorite, since I'm the only one, RIGHT?"
ya thats weird. i would say "your my favorite guy" to my bf if he's the only guy.. I don't know its a weird thing to say , but dont accuse him of anything just play it out..
I think you might be reading too much into it. He's just letting you know how much he likes you. Don't get hung up on the wording.

Guys say dumb things that they mean affectionately. Don't read too much into it.
