A seed. Seeds perfectly encapsulate life, starting small, opening, and growing into the world, rooting themselves in the Earth while also pressing forth into the heavens. It is a long process, a daunting process, and a lifelong process; seeds do not ever stop growing until they can grow no more and even then they just produce more seeds to continue.

Humans are seeds as well, but while all of us start small, not all of us open, not all of us take root, and not all of us choose to grow tall and to the fullest of our ability. Even if we follow that process through not all of us choose to be fertile and spread our influence, positive or negative, amongst the fields. I can only pray that I will have the courage to open, the wisdom to take root, the faith to mature, and the love to spread what I have found in my journey, positive and negative, to those willing to listen.
