Just a bit of Halloween fun. Most people are familiar with the famous Salem witch trials but many don't know that Salem is short for Jerusalem. It's why you'll see so many chapels in the UK called Salem, particularly in the more historically religious west.

There is a famous British painting by Sydney Curnow Vosper that shows a women entering Capel Salem, Cefn Cymerau in Gwynedd 1908. It is well known because prints were given away free to market sunlight soap. It became one of the most common paintings in people's homes. Most old people will have childhood memories of it, often of being frightened.

For it is believed by many that Satan can be seen the photo hiding in plain sight. Once word spread about the devil many families destroyed their copy.

So can you see him?

I do that quite often specially when i am bored.
Just to see what's up with their life and their dressing style and pictures and some good restaurants/tour suggestions.

I know there are other holidays coming up too, but I just wanna focus on these three for right now.

I don't know why, but I'm so ready for the Christmas season to begin this year. I've been listening to Christmas songs for the past 2 weeks!!! I'm usually all about Thanksgiving, but I haven't been as excited about it these last few years. I think it's because my cousin got killed a week before Thanksgiving back in 2018. It hasn't been the same since. But I'm so ready for Christmas 🎄🎅🏾

Nope. I dont. If you’re the calm, Im the storm. Cause im storming tf outta there 🤣 I don't know why im made this way lol. But i wanna liiiive 😂 I know in movies, the ones who dont think usually dont live in the end, but hey, I got a nice headstart didn't I… Besides, based off past experiences, I always acted first without thinking. Its just a reflex I guess. And mind you, this is only if somethings trying to attack me. In any other setting, I’d surely think first because I’m more of a logical than emotional thinker

Which one do you focus on?
Which one should you focus on?
Which one feels like it brings you the most peace?
And the most anxiety?
Is staying present the answer, or a good goal to have, or is inaction in the present more likely to lead to a future you won't be able to attain?

There's obviously no right or wrong answers here. I'm just curious if there's any more common thinking.

And why?

I feel all this ''Oh yessss, yesss I'm proud to be gay, hey people I'm a proud gay'' parades is going too far. It makes me want to say out loud ''So what, it's not like you invented a cure for cancer or are helping starving children in the world, your sexual orientation doesn't make you special''.

You don't see me screaming to everyone on the streets ''Hey people, I'm proud to be a straight woman, yessss, I'm straight''. Then if you point out their exaggerated pride (really what exactly is to be proud of having a sexual orientation?), you're accused of being a homophobic.

It's nearly Halloween so I thought I'd do some Halloween questions this month. Swedes or Rutabaga to you Americans were the traditional vegetable for carving Halloween jack o lanterns out of. I remember as a small child hacking away with a blunt knife and spoon for hours. Pumpkins were of course available but my parent's got sadistic pleasure in watching me suffer. Eventually I was allowed a soft pumpkin like a normal child.

The house would stink of candle burnt swede for days but at least the ghost of the white lady didn't get me so at least it worked.

So my question is, have you ever carved a lantern out of a swede?
