+1 yGo-to go with the freezing to death. Hopefully you can just curl up and go to sleep. That should work but burning is considerably worse, you can't sleep through that, if you're still alive after your skin is gone, you've prob burnt your throat and mouth, if for some miracle you make it through that you'll probably die in the next 3-5 days from infection or pneumonia, but if you're tough, now comes the debriefing, where they use a small power washer to blast all the dead skin off and clean it up.

It's better to be freeze than burned. See when you freeze, the entire body including nerves go numb to the point where you can't feel it then eventually the rest of your organs and body follows with it and then you eventually pass out and die from hypothermia. People who gets burned by fire their appearances changes entirely so the point of recognition.

Freeze, it's actually not that bad. After you hit a certain point you feel warm and comfortable and then go to sleep and never wake up. burning alive would be torture for a very long time

I think burn. It is quicker. Freeze is very slow, but also less painful. I mean if I had to go out. I would go out with a bang/as a ball of fire.

As a girl, my own mother was severely burned in a house fire. She described what it was like to literally have your body being "on fire" to me just once. It was something that I never wanted to hear again.11 Reply
+1 yI'd rather freeze to death.
I've read that freezing is actually kind of peaceful because you eventually lose the perception of cold and kind of become delirious, so at least you don't have to think about the fact that you are dying.
That's something, I guess.
Burning just sounds all around awful.10 Reply- 4.1K opinions shared on Other topic.
+1 yFreezing results in hypothermia, where your organs shut down over a period of time, your senses dull, and your brain shuts down, so you don't really feel much, no pain. You basically go to sleep and die.
Burning, though quick, would be extremely painful.10 Reply

+1 yBeen in multiple situation i has heading in the direction of freezing. Gave me time to think and come to terms with it. The one fire i was in i had no time to think and even if i did the pain was to great to get a thought in edgewise. Luckily i made it out of all situations alive. But I'd rather freeze. Out of all ways drowning was the most peaceful. Once your lungs fill its like floating in a womb as a baby and drifting off to sleep. Drowning was the closest i have come to dying.

+1 yfreeze. cause freezing is really not all that painfull. people lost limbs not even noticing tha they got frostbite. sure it's not pleasant but certianly more bearable. on the opposite end: did you ever hear of someone losing their hand cause they just kept it in a fire too long? no. that shit hurts so much that you normally pull out before that happens xD
