For me definitely burning. The nerve pain would be horrendous as they melted away! Or even if I just died of smoke inhalation first I’d still be a worse for if suffocation. I’m fairly comfortable in the water for the most part, at least enough not to panic too much, so I’d rather just hold my breath until I passed out and go into that dream like state and never regain consciousness from a cardiac arrest - is horrible but for me it’d be far more preferable than burning!
I'm torn between the two. Drowning is horrendous but apparently the last few seconds are really calm and peaceful and quite a nice experience as death goes, and dying in a fire you almost certainly die from smoke inhalation long before the flames touch you. If it is actually the flames that kill me, then drowning for sure.
Burning... the videos I seen was worst than seeing someone drowning in real life. Plus with drowning. Hold your breath and you have a fighting chance to get back up. Burning, not so much.
