I've been on a wander about today and taken a few snapshots of things I found. As you can see, they're all pretty crappy for one reason or another, but which looks the most interesting?

I think the map shows the preferred outdoor snack for each state. As you can see there's corndogs, egg plants, and ice lollies, but by far cucumbers and bananas are the most most popular thing to gnaw on in public.

I kinda get the logic because both are easy to carry around until you're hungry and fit easily in your mouth so you don't need cutlery.

Here's a map of America with different states in different shades of blue. People were asked a question and the real answer compared with their given answer. As you can see, the scale runs from minus 25 to plus 25%, so some people were quite far off the mark. But what was the question?

That is the percentage difference between actual and reported.

Hey Guys and Gals,

I've given a few people makeovers for the past ~10 years or so. Usually friends who are getting "back out there" after a breakup, but a few times younger folks who are just joining the workforce and dressing either still sporting the college hoodie look or wearing ill-fitting suits that look like they stole them from some older person's closet.

I also give myself a full-on makeover every 5 years or so because styles change, health needs change, etc. and bottom line is that we all want to look and feel our best when we're heading out and meeting new people.

What about you guys?

My mom has been struggling with night sweats ever since she got COVID-19 because of mild heart pain ++ constipation with thin stool at times with bit of blood and mucus, she is also pre diabetes but thankfully never needed to take medicine for it

I have a huge crush on a guy and we get on well. We always make strong eye contact and most mornings he says good morning to me first. I sometimes catch him staring at me.

This morning, I noticed that he has more or less shaved his beard off.

I complimented him and said it looks nice. He said “thank you” but then kept saying he didn’t like it, his mum doesn’t like it etc. as if to seek constant reassurance. He said that he’d said to his mum “I am half of you so I have your looks”.

I said that I’m glad I don’t have my dad’s nose because it’s a beak. I then said I have my mums eyes.

He said “you’re blessed then”

Was he subtly complimenting my looks? Does he think I’m attractive? What did he mean?

For context, there is a guy who teases me almost every time we interact. Do you tease/have banter with girls you fancy/have feelings for/ are attracted to?

Imagine a situation where:
-Older Brother (30): In a committed relationship for 3-4 years, living with his girlfriend.
-Younger Brother (27): Had a tumultuous, on-again/off-again relationship with a woman (25) over the past year.
-The Ex-Girlfriend (25): Struggled with the relationship due to repeated cheating, emotional conflicts, and mistreatment by the younger brother

When the Ex-Girlfriend First Reached Out to the Older Brother, He Was Supportive and Neutral → Initially, he listened, gave neutral advice, and didn’t seem to have a strong opinion about her or the relationship.

-However, After That, the Older Brother Became Harsh & Judgmental → Over text, he started expressing strong dislike toward the ex-girlfriend, saying she was manipulative and toxic.
-The Older Brother Has Reached Out Multiple Times to Confront the Ex-Girlfriend → Instead of ignoring the situation, he actively engaged with her in texts, being dismissive and harshly critical of her role in the relationship.
-The Ex-Girlfriend Tried to Explain Her Side → She reached out to the older brother to show him the full picture, explaining that she had been hurt, cheated on, and mistreated. However, the older brother ignored this perspective and continued blaming her entirely for the toxic cycle.
-Even After the Breakup, the Older Brother Still Feels Strongly About the Situation → Despite the fact that the younger brother and the ex-girlfriend have broken up, the older brother continues to speak negatively about her and express strong feelings of resentment toward her.

What do you believe are the primary reasons for the older brother’s intense and harsh behavior toward his younger brother’s ex-girlfriend?
