To be perfectly honest the guy creeps me out and is often kinda inappropriate in how he talks to me when he meets me in the store. I also have seen the way he leers at other young women in their teens and twenties, he's around 50 something. He was going past my house, he lives maybe 10 houses away. I saw him out walking when I collected the mail from the post box and walked back into my home and he followed right behind me and as I tried to close the door he put his hand on it stopping me, he apologised and asked if he could come in and use the bathroom. Warning bells went off in my head, I told him no and he tried to push his way in as though he was entitled to enter my home but I told him if he didn't piss off I'd call the police and he left calling me a bitch. I called my husband who drove home and went straight to his door and he called the police. We've a door bell cam so the police who were sympathetic and suspicious of him didn't press charges. Some in the neighbourhood say it was unneighbourly and they've let him use theirs in the past no problem while others say I did right. I was raised to better be safe that sorry in these things.

Met a guy who flirted with me a lot right off the bat. He asked indirectly if I was going to a concert he was interested in but I told him I couldnt.

I spent 2 years with a guy who initially said he didn’t want a relationship, but we eventually fell in love. He treated me like his girlfriend—introducing me to friends and family, celebrating birthdays with surprises, traveling together, being deeply intimate, and talking every day. He listened to my problems and helped me through tough times. I truly believed we had something real, and from the outside, it seemed like the perfect relationship.

But over time, he started pulling away, prioritizing friends and family over me. He bluntly told me, “I won’t marry you,” and then left for Iraq, saying he’d been honest from the start about going back to his country. When I asked about trying long-distance, he called me a burden, criticized me for my family issues, and even said he had to tell me what to do about a cockroach in my condo. He claimed I should have understood when he said he wouldn’t marry me. I begged him to reconsider, but he quickly moved on, even saying we could still be “friends on Facebook.”

He’s already back on dating apps, seemingly unaffected by our breakup. Now I’m wondering—was I being used? Was I wrong to think we had something real? What kind of person moves on so easily?

So earlier on here, I replied to a guy with a normal response and his reply to me was "good girl" I simply replied "weird" and he lost his mind lol. I told him that used at an inappropriate time it makes me feel like he's treating me like a dog.

He proceeded to go unhinged and curse at me and eventually blocked me 🤣🤣

So I thought, is this something that is now being commonly thrown around at inappropriate times?

Do you find every situation appropriate for it or only certain situations? Or never appropriate?

The comfort of knowing you don't have to fight so hard for money? But have contracted mouth herpes and HPV

the comfort of living without any contagious STDs Such as mouth herpes and HPV. But have to struggle hard for money? Starting at zero at this age

im not talking about genital herpes or other STDs, just mouth herpes and HPV specifically.

BUT in a scenario where you absolutely MUsT choose, which is the better choice?

I met a guy on a forum a couple of years ago and we barely ever talked. We’ve probably only texted 12 times. Randomly he texted me insinuating I want him to meet him. He phrased his sentence as if I was in love with him and needed him to come to where I am and like get a house in my city. Then, not too long after that, he texted me saying he wanted to fly over to my country and take me out. I know that if someone’s a weirdo I can block them. Especially if they are so far away. But I just need to know if that’s odd or suspicious or if they were just trying to be nice? I don’t want this question to make me seem dumb it’s just the fact they one day said something to me making it seem like they thought I needed to be dependent on them and have them move here and assumed I needed to be taken on a date by them that threw me off and I need to know if that’s eerie or if I’m crazy.

If the break up was mutual and there was no bad blood I don’t see any harm in wishing an ex a happy birthday UNLESS they are or you are already in a new relationship. What do you think?

Have you ever felt that way?

So I’m living in Greece for grad school and thought it would be good to adopt a kitty while I was here. So far, it’s been a fantastic decision. But it’s been almost a week now and I still can’t settle on a name. I’m hoping to have one chosen by November first since that’s when she’s getting her vaccinations and microchip. With my last cat, when faced with naming her I wrote my options on scraps of paper, balled them up and tossed them across the floor; the one the cat ran after to play with was the one I chose for the name. This time, I guess it’s because she’s still very little, my kitten hasn’t been interested in that method. I figured since I’m in Greece (and a classical archaeology student) I should chose something theme appropriate. I’m stuck between three

-Sparta (So when people ask her name I can say “This. Is. SPARTA!” Like in 300. Fun, but I worry it may not suit her as and so far she’s been super sweet and it’s a little masculine)

-Callisto (which in Greek means “Most Beautiful” but by extension may seem a little pretentious and may be a little difficult for both her and other people to learn [when discussing names with my parents separately both accidentally and repeatedly said CallistA])

-Circe (The witch in the Odyssey that turns Odysseus’s men into animals but on the flip side, is a different spelling for Cersei of Game of Thrones. Enough said.)

I’m also open to other suggestions but I’d like to stay on theme. I’ve already decided against both Calliope (the muse of epic poetry) and Hecate (the goddess of witchcraft)
