Trending & News They were too diplomatic, which can be seen as good or bad.
It's good because they at the time made good rules and mostly kept the country in control, however there idea on current issues totally overlooked future problems.
Such as when guns go from been terrible muskets limited in quantity and power to ARs in large supply and high in power.
Or Religion, due to themselves letting them been pushed over separation of Church and State was never properly implemented, this has led many issues and a still strong Christian dogmatic faith in America.
When the Fathers wanted to separate themselves from that, as written the ideology was to never allow Christian faith to impact law. Yet one swears on the bible in court, or Abortion is seen as bad due to Christians saying it's murder.
Like all humans they were flawed people. Their one true gift was they knew they didn't have all the answers and they allowed for ways to fix things. Other than that one factor they were just normal people.

They were idealistic and flawless.
According to societal norms of their generation.
Mostly good. Some of them owned slaves, but so what? Almost everyone did back then.
Ofcourse they were bad people. America's foundation is build on exploiting African slaves
Very ignorant. You need to blame the SELLER in slave trade but the buyer paid for them.
@strateguy632 they both are evil
They created the greatest country on earth. They were great.
I thought the Founding Fathers created the United States
Greatest country on earth doesn't have a tweaker and homeless problem and people snitching on you and cops arresting you for stupid things.
@KostasKouvalis Weird millions keep wanting to come into this country, then. I agree, it's time to get back to the country's origins.
I've brought that argument up as well. For third world immigrants, the US is an upgrade, but for immigrants from Europe, it's a downgrade.
This "greatest country on earth" is arrogant propoganda. Even nationalities who are known to be extremely nationalitistic don't talk like this. It's so silly.
But based on your last comment, I think you agree with me to an extent, and I do agree. You can be proud of your country, while still acknowledging it has problems and there's room for improvement. If you're gonna claim to be the greatest you should walk the talk
The US has the lowest standard of living of any developed nation.
The thing I found silly though is the same people who claim it's the greatest are the same people who complain about how Democrats have ruined it. So how can it be the greatest?
@KostasKouvalis America's still the greatest. Its led the world in freedom. That those aforementioned European countries copied and now claim to be better than the US.
I disagree with you, but that's okay. How did they copy US when the US was literally founded by Europeans? Europe was for a long time ahead in technology, food and social issues.
The biggest thing we've exported to them lately is our woke culture and pop culture. It's only in recent years that Europeans started idolizing and copying America.
@KostasKouvalis England was run by a king when the US was founded.
