We get so many messages on what we should or shouldn't do based on our sexe. In fact there are mixed messages and views on it. At the end of the day, I'm curious to know what people truly desire if they new without a doubt they could trust their partner and the social pressures and judgments are completely removed.

He tells me he doesn't have the funds to help and if i want him to rob a bank. I ask him if I could look in his wallet and he says no he has 120.00 dollars that he owes to someone. I feel so dumb because he's always asking me to be selfless and to help him out which i sometimes do, yet when my phone turns off i get no help, actually every-time a bill comes around it turns into a huge fight and again he has no money. I live alone and 25. I want have my first baby this year it’s been my dream have my child at age 26 and live with my partner. My mom wants me have no future no life just live with her forever til I’m old and it scares me she doesn’t understand I need have my own life my babies, be with my partner. All moms have a boyfriend or own home and she doesn’t. I’m not her boyfriend or her husband. Then gets mad when I tell her she needs find a boyfriend if she don’t want be alone. Then says I’m a bad child for not living with her forever and mad cuz I want a future and have dreams.

I just saw a video on TikTok where this woman has a theory that most men tend to marry the person who is the physically closest to them (location). To be more clear, say a man has decided that he is ready to start a family and wants marriage. This man probably works a lot of hours so he does not know a lot of women. So the first decent-looking single woman he meets is the one he will propose to. In theory, it is not because he was in love with her but because he was desperate and settled. Is this true?

I also have noticed this. I feel like as soon as a man makes the decision that he wants marriage, then whichever woman he is exposed to the most and happens to be single (not have kids) will be the one he decides to marry. Men don't like to break their heads as much as women who overthink. However, women do this as well but mostly when they are desperate and have limited time/choices.

I’ve only been in 1 relationship but my friend wants to set me up with one of her friends who checks all the other boxes but he was married and I don’t want to date someone who’s been married or has had kids

She’s kind of a lead & one of the best, we work remotely & she’s responsive with answering my questions. Since last week & this week, I noticed something & wonder if it’s a genuine mistake. I sent her an IM & her usual response is “looking” meaning she’s checking the file I’m asking about. But last week & this week she typed “LOOKING”, caps always comes across as yelling. Then right away she edits the message & puts it in lowercase. She answers, her tone isn’t condescending, she continues to heart/like my msgs but that was strange. I’m kind of hesitant now, I need to be wary of my boss bringing this up. Ugh

I had to ask him would you tell a 4 year old cancer patient or even your own MOTHER that and he was like no, I would never. But for me he thinks it’s fine and that I’m over reacting. I yelled at him for like an hour and I blocked him and he’s been calling me for 2 days straight. What the hell is wrong with him
