Also to add my reasoning, I’m a child of divorced parents and would never want to be a stepparent. I want to have my own children given what I’ve been through.

Your refusal to date a man with children is perfectly reasonable. You might want to reconsider dating a divorced man who does not have children. People make mistakes and some learn from them.

Just know it's your it's ALWAYS your choice to make your own standards. But you don't get to complain about the size of your dating pool then either.
