If you’re a guy who’s never dated at 30, should you give up?

I’m 30 and have never dated a girl, I went on one date back when I was 21 and lost my virginity on that date and then I had absolutely nothing for the next 5 years when I made it to 3rd base with a girl who was mutual friends with someone I knew. That was 3 years ago and again, nothing since then. I just feel like at this point, there’s no hope left and that girls won’t want to date someone my age who has so little experience. I have become pretty depressed because of this situation and have even turned to drugs, alcohol, and gambling to numb myself cope with the fact that I might be alone forever. I just think that all girls will reject me for being so inexperienced for a 30 year old.

In my opinion the dating life is very hard even for me and I’m a female and not to sound like I’m conceded, but I don’t find myself ugly and I find myself to have an OK personality. And yes, it’s even hard for me to find someone. But I say don’t give up!! I would love to meet a guy that not as experience because at this age, I think that the guy would actually try and appreciate the relationship

At 30 men are just beginning to come into their prime, you have all the time in the world to find someone if that's what you really want, but watch your back, if women suddenly start showing you attention who have in the past ignored you they could just be looking to 'settle' ans love will have little to nothing to do with it.

Financially, not good. I’m only doing DoorDash while I go to school online. No I’m not in shape, but working on it. I did weigh 218 and I’m now down to 201 and keeping at it. Yes I have 2 cars. No I don’t have my own place, I still live at home with my parents and I feel like that’s another big issue. I actually got into a fight with them over that last week because I feel like they screwed me over in a way and held me back from getting my own place. Yeah my social skills aren’t bad or anything, but I don’t have any friends right now, but I used to.

I’m trying, but these things take time and as much as I wish I could, I can’t pick up and move out on my own tomorrow. I feel like my parents really screwed me over and I got into a big fight with them about this last week.

No, but I’m in school right now. I’m also doing DoorDash as a side hustle to get some money while I go to school. I haven’t been able to do it for the past month though because a scammer hacked my account and I’m still trying to get it sorted out so I can get back to doing it.

Well sounds like you need a priority list for your life. I suggest that dating is fairly low on that list. Finish school, get a job, move out, then dating.

Yeah but the thing wit that is then I will get even older and it will also get even more difficult to date because this situation with being inexperienced at an adult age gets worse and becomes more of a turn off with each year that you age. I might be in my mid 30’s by that point and this will be way worse by then.

you're not a woman. your biological clock isn't ticking. no reason to rush into a relationship with a crappy girl. chances are you're just gonna find crappy girls, if you don't have your shit together. get your shit together, then look for a quality girl, cause then you have better chances. quality girls want an established, competent man who has the "family nest" prepared to have children. doesn't matter if you're 10-20 or even more years older than her. doesn't even matter if you want children or not. female psychology works the same either way.
