Is a man cheap for setting up a coffee date?

Then what would you call a women who expects to pay 0 dollars on a date?

No that isn't called being cheap. It is practical. So many first dates can not turn into second and third if the people aren't a good match. There is no sense in going overboard right out of the the gate only to find out she was a total dud and you did something expensive for no reason. To the question about what I expect pay wise is that I always pay for myself. I don't want the guy to think he is owed something if you know what I mean. I am not suggesting all guys think like that but there are enough of them that do.

I've had multiple coffee dates with my boyfriend, and we sometimes prefer those to restaurant dates. They are lovely. Also, we split the bill 50/50 in everything usually

Not at all. A man isn't cheap for setting up a walk in the park. If a woman expects you to spend money on her on your first date, that's an immediate red flag.
