My family and I are currently suffering from it right now =( It's a good thing though that I am well on my way to getting better.

Now imagine a woman who shares many interests guys have (sports, fishing, camping, etc.) with the same depth & passion;
Has a technical (an engineer) and goal-orientated mind prefering logic not emotion to deal with conflict or decisions about sensitive topics (e. g. politics);
Is confident & insightful about many topics due to being educated, open minded & intelligent;
Takes initivate and does not sit on her hands, she grabs life by the horns, having bought into her own investments such as stocks & real estate;
Is self confident, self assured and is neither insecure, anxious or flighty / easy going and generous with a trustworthy nature;

Is well appericated by other people for her willingness to volunteer or help, her open minded approach towards others / treating them as she would want to be, etc.

It can happen to anyone. Sometimes the unexpected happens at visitations and funerals (after all, the first three letters in funeral spell fun).

During a Wednesday evening visitation, I walked into one of our chapels and found a micro mini Highland heifer wandering around making friends with and getting scratched by all the visitors. She was friendly, adorable, very well groomed, and well-behaved. No poop anywhere either (thankfully). She showed up at a side entrance wanting in, so one little boy opened the door and let her in. She was a hit, and brought smiles to a lot of otherwise somber faces. The first thing I thought of was at last, livestock for people like @BigPauly and me.

Someone looked on a Facebook lost pets page and found someone desperately looking for her. Her name is Oprah, she's a pet. She looks like the heifer in the picture, but doesn't have black inside her ear flaps. She got out of her enclosure and wandered about three blocks over. Oprah is now safely back with her family, doing whatever mini-moos do.

What would you do if a mini-moo showed up at one of your functions?

I have a non romantic relationship with a guy. We have a history dating back to high school where we started as crushes, became friends and planned a relationship. Things did not work out and over the past few years we have lost contact and reconnected a few times. He is in a relationship, I am single and focused on completing a goal. Just to make it clear we do not flirt, or revisit the past so we are 100% platonic. In the past we spoke non stop. At present we just randomly message each other with well wishes or if we need to talk something over. The frequency of our interactions makes me believe we are acquaintances. The conversations are usually why have I not done this or am I wrong. The topics feel like a conversation one would have with a friend. I am not sure what to consider him, friend, acquaintance or neither?

My fiancé and I have a large age gap (I am 28 and he is 50) and other differences but we have a strong emotional connection that holds us together. I don’t know why but even though he says he wants to be with me, he isn’t very expressive or affectionate. He doesn’t compliment me ever. I may tell him things I like about him but he is never able to answer when I ask the same in return. Or I will compliment him on his physical attributes but he will say things like your lips are fine or this is average. You could do better if you put work in. Etc. I don’t really get it because he is pretty average looking and not my normal type but I really love him and have gone out of my way to prove it. I can’t tell if he really doesn’t like me but still wants to get married for convenience or if he is just bad at expressing but every time I try communicating this, he ignores me or diverts. Even though he is close to 50, makes less than me and has been divorced 3 times he tells me he is a catch but never makes me feel like he is lucky to have me. I don’t feel loved or understood by him and it hurts a lot. I don’t understand why he acts so indifferent. The only times I’ve seen him not like that is when other men give me attention and then he gets really nasty and jealous. He has called me a slut, whore, etc before out of that possessiveness. And when we sleep together, it is always passionate. But in the day to day, he acts very indifferent and I am trying to understand why. Any ideas or understanding?
