There is no need to break-up via text with phone, Skype, Facetime, and Zoom. All this says to me is that he really never had any respect for partner. Was this out of the blue? Did you by chance recently come back from Family encounter?

Let's face it, the person breaking up via text is a Coward. Better to have that revealed early than later. It is less confrontational and just soooo easy to do. One of this sort does not have the guts to look anyone in the eye in a meaningful way. It is worse than a cheater and unstable in all his/her ways.

Nope. Never. I don't plan on breaking up anytime soon. But I'm the kind that has to explain my reason for ending a relationship, if it's in my hands to do so. I don't think I could say everything I want to in a text.
