Brass Against Onstage Urination Incident Leads to Police Report as More Details Emerge

Brass Against are dealing with the fallout from an onstage incident in which singer Sophia Urista urinated on a fan’s face at the Welcome to Rockville festival in Daytona Beach, Florida. Among the new developments is a police report that was filed concerning the episode.

Urista singled out a male fan in the crowd with a camera mounted to his head. She called him up onto the stage while the band was covering Rage Against the Machine’s “Wake Up.” She then told him to lie down on the stage, at which point she pulled down her pants and urinated on his face. The man, seemingly thrilled by the act, then proceeded to stand up and spit the liquid into the audience. Needless to say, the incident made national headlines.

Daytona Beach Police spokesman Messod Bendayan confirmed that police received a message on the department’s Facebook account about the incident. Bendayan then told the person to file a report, which she did. “I did get one like that and I told her to file a report and she did,” stated Bendayan. He also explained that the department’s criminal investigations division will look into the matter.

Florida statute 800.03 makes it unlawful to for someone to “expose his or her sexual organs in public or on the private premises of another, or so near thereto as to be seen from such private premises, in a vulgar or indecent manner.”

The crime of indecent exposure is punishable by up to a year in jail or a $1,000 fine.

Meanwhile, more details have emerged regarding the incident itself. Urista told the audience she had to use the bathroom, and then said, “Get my man with the can on his head ready, ’cause we’re going to bring him onstage and I’mma piss in this motherf**ker’s mouth.”

She added, “I gotta pee, and I can’t make it to the bathroom. So we might as well make a show out of it.”

Sandy Hook families win legal victory against Alex Jones in defamation case

Sandy Hook families suing InfoWars founder Alex Jones have won a case against him after a judge ruled against Jones who has failed to comply with the discovery process.

Jones and entities owned by him were found liable by default Monday in a defamation case against them.

Connecticut Superior Court Judge Barbara Bellis cited the defendants' "willful noncompliance" with the discovery process as her core reasoning behind the ruling. She specifically noted that they had not turned over financial and analytics data requested multiple times by the Sandy Hook family plaintiffs.

"All the defendants have failed to fully and fairly comply with their discovery obligations," Bellis said at the virtual hearing.

Judge Bellis said that she had held off scheduling Monday's sanctions hearing "in hopes these problems would be corrected" by the Jones defendants.

"While the families are grateful for the Court's ruling, they remain focused on uncovering the truth. As the Court noted, Alex Jones and his companies have deliberately concealed evidence of the relationship between what they publish and how they make money," said attorney Chris Mattei, who represents the plaintiffs. "Mr. Jones was given every opportunity to comply but, when he chose instead to withhold evidence for more than two years, the Court was left with no choice but to rule as it did today. While today's ruling is a legal victory, the battle to shed light on how deeply Mr. Jones has harmed these families continues."

Jones was being sued by families of Sandy Hook victims in both Texas and Connecticut courts over his past claims that the 2012 mass shooting was staged. He has since acknowledged that the shooting was real.

The case will now proceed to a hearing and damages as to the defendants, Bellis said. A status conference is scheduled for Wednesday.

My GG has a Pomeranian named Mishka and she's the sweetest little dog I've ever met. She loves her bath time and her family. When my siblings and I go to spend the night over there, Mishka sleeps with me in a bed all night. I'd want to own one when I have a family because they are good family dogs. When my 2 year old sister plays with her, she is gentle with my sister and calm when she is being held. I love Pomeranians!

I’m just being me and hoping they see me as more of being right for them rather then being all wrong. I rather be moving in the right direction and building things up than getting left behind and watching everything fall apart ya know lmao. But in the process, i’ll continue to work on becoming an even better version of myself, both physically and mentally.
