Obviously, both are just beliefs. You can't prove or disprove either. Lots of intelligent people have agreed and disagreed with both beliefs. Sure, the belief that all people are created equal is fashionable today, but that does not make it a fact. And the belief that God exists has been fashionable at times too.

I had dinner with a colleague tonight and I mentioned buying wedding bands this coming week, as we are getting married on April 27. He made the statement that women no longer wear wedding bands and they choose to simply wear their engagement ring. My reaction was to tell him that this is the stupidest thing I have heard so far this year. To the best of my knowledge, women wear both their engagement ring AND their wedding band after they get married.

Obviously, there is no "law" on this subject and a woman is free to do what she wants so please don't tell me that she can do whatever she wants; I already know that. I am trying to determine what other married women do most commonly. Guys, if you have been married, please tell me what your wife does/did.

I thought she was 20 from how she looked. I was at the beach and the weather was rainy. I saw two young women getting in the water which gave me the courage to jump in myself. I think they found it charming so I talked to them while we swam. Afterwards I asked for her number and she told me she was 16 and her friend was 17. It happened a little bit back but I still feel weird. Should I?

I notice i feel like im being rude or something when im eating but others around me especially friends aren't eating.

It’s an interesting subject as it seems powerful politcal forces may be doing that with us.
Say getting us to fight over wedge issues like abortion, rather than global warming or money in politics.
