There's no guarantee of you ever waking up. Would you want them to pull the plug and prevent any hardships for them (hurt/grief and medical expenses) or have faith and support you continuously even if you never wake up again?

Coddle spoil overprotect overindulge or protect from consequences, even when she is wrong in every context.

It's good and sweet to a extent some of this but the key word in coddling is that it's overdone.

Nothing romantic just platonic

You know how sometimes people charged with a crime are allowed out on bond. Problem is that what if you don't have enough money to get out on bond? Is that not discriminating against people who do not afford to pay the bond?

If the court thinks that you can be out and free until your case is heard it can let you out. No need to take money from you even if it is temporary.
