Most rankings I've seen put Iowa and Hood neck and neck for first place. More people tend to say Hood was more beautiful but Iowa takes the cake in my opinion. BUT one hill that I'll die on is that the IJN Mikasa is the most beautiful of the pre-dreadnoughts battleships.

It’s 2026, and Michael would be 68 years old. The fedora is still tilted just right, and the iconic white glove is still on—but the world around us is completely different. Would the man who gave us Thriller, Bad, and Dangerous look at modern TikTok dances, AI music, and stadium tours selling out in three seconds, and simply decide, "You know what? I’ve done enough"?

Or would he do the exact opposite?

Would he walk into a studio tomorrow and drop an album that makes Thriller look like a demo? Would he announce “The Final Moonwalk Tour” and instantly crash every ticket website on Earth? Would he still be out there on stage at 68, hitting that signature toe-stand in Smooth Criminal while the rest of us are just trying to catch our breath?

Because that’s the thing about Michael—he never did things halfway. He didn’t come to play it safe; he came to change music forever. Legends like him don’t really retire. They just wait for the right moment to completely redefine the game.
