The version of the game I'm currently working on uses no randomness. This is a problem though, because it means the better player always wins, which could be discouraging for new players. One solution is to use a ranking system and always have the weaker player go first, this way they are always one turn ahead of the better player.

Do you think randomness helps or hurts perceived fairness in a strategy game?

I have come across this situation when a single mother with two daughters allowed her younger daughter to become a boy when she was 13 or 14, or even younger.

I think this is not a decision for a young person to be allowed to make, because they have no experience of life.

What is your opinion?

I was at the mall when i learned our Cinnabon sold butterbeer Cinnabons lol... my mom loves butterbeer so i figure why not!
