I recently asked a question about squash and felt many people didn't understand the question. That got me thinking perhaps squash is mostly a British thing.
So, for clarity. Squash is a concentrated liquid that you put in a glass and top up with water. Some brands use fruit juice, other's chemicals, most use both.
Not really in the same form as Ribena etc.. but thr aforementioned powders, Kool Aid, Crystal Light. And a smattering of liquids such as Mio which are hyper condensed micro mixers sold in plastic bottles s bit bigger than a bottle of eye drops.
I can only think of āOrange Juice Concentrateā as an example in the US. They have grape juice and such as well but it is called āconcentrateā or you will see things marked āFrom concentrateā or āFrozen concentratedā.
Similar in idea of changing the flavor of water. No chance they are natural here.
Youāre much better off and a way healthier choice to get something like this and put fresh fruit to infuse water with flavor. Not sure if you have these. I would think so.
This is the first time I heard about "squash". I've never seen it in the US. We do have powdered chemicals that people can add but even they seem less common lately.

But you mix the entire thing with water and get a pitcher of Orange Juice or berry etc
We donāt have those particular brands, but they do sell additives for water. They are mostly sold in a powder form where I live.
