Was I wrong to confront a coworker for mocking someone in a hurry?

There was a situation when a guy at my work was in a hurry to tell something to another person
and while he was speaking he droped his phone but there was no time to pick it up because he had to explain something
He did what he had to do picked up the phone
There was a guy mocking him for that and i went to tell this guy go away if dont know what happend dont open your mouth
My friends asked me is there anything wrong
i said no
Later the guy apologized and i was like its not that hard to get an idea of whats happening before commeting on something
was i wrong fir getting angry?
I myself am very cautios and respectful about people in every situation and dont speak or judge easily

I wouldn’t say it was wrong to do so, but I would say that you should pick your battles wisely. Not every situation deserves a reaction.
