Real fairytale experience

All my life, I have watched various fairytales and everytime, I wished that someday, I would live a fairytale like this.

When I was 17 years old, my fairytale journey began. I was new at a school and no one really knew me, so I just pretended to have been in that high school for a long time. Suddenly, this guy came up to me and we started talking. He found me very interesting and asked me to our Valentine's ball. At the Valentine's ball, I was wearing a white cocktail dress and I felt like a star, or in this case, a real living princess.

At the end of the night, I had to go upstairs and fetch my shoes and bag. I looked down the balcony and saw him looking up at me. One could say that it was either Romeo and Juliet, or Rapunzel. I was fascinated by the whole experience and how it related to fairytales, that I started writing all the events down.

My second experience was a few months later: It was beauty and the beast. This guy had started hanging out with me and everyone found him ugly, but he wasn't to me. He was perfect. We hung out more often and I developed slight feelings for him, which he did too... He just never told me... so the fairytale had a sad ending, but it was still worth it.

The year after, on Easter, a guy came up to me and asked me to our farewell. We had never met before, but in the upcoming holidays, we did a lot together. When I finally told him that I liked him, after he had told me so many times before, we had the greatest times of our lives. One day, I was sleeping over at his place then and just like sleeping beauty, he kissed me awake. How wonderful is that? :-)

Little did I know that during that entire time, there was one guy who was always involved in my stories in one way or another. I just never noticed him until we started talking about music when we were at a science course. So now the last part of my story involves a bit of cinderella as it seems: I was invited to meet up with that particular guy and guess what? My dad doesn't want me to go and if I do, 12 is my curfew... Even though I am 18 and could technically decide on my own.

My friends made me clear of all the events being fairytales and then I realised how true it was in a way...
