10. Lovin' the Night Away - The Dillman Band
Unbelievably, this is as of now the only existing video in all of youtube of this amazing song
9. I'll Never Run Away - Wrabit
That this song isn't consistently in at least the top 20 of best of the 80s lists is simply shocking to me.
3. Sweet Time - REO Speedwagon
Good band, and a neat little song that has been undeservedly forgotten
4. Hold Back Your Love - Strange-ways
This song is great message for a relationship.
5. I Could Be Good For You - 707
This makes me feel like I'm actually standing in 1981 with my true love at my side. Classy, and almost ethereal in a way.
6. You Stole My Heart - The Breaks
Fantastic piece of pop rock AOR. The band has a great sound, especially the lead singer. They should've been bigger.
7. My Kinda Woman - America
Oh boy, turn the cheese dial up to eleven. You're either going to love this or hate it. I love it, so sue me.
8. Stone In Love - Journey
Can a song by one of the best bands ever be underrated? When it shares the same album with two of said band's biggest hits, it certainly can. It's a shame too, because this may be about as close to pop rock perfection as it gets.
9. All Through The Night - Body Electric
Just a really great song with a very 80s chorus and harmony.
10. First To Know - Rosemary Butler
They say that you can make the best song in the world, but if nobody hears it, nobody will remember it. There may be no better example of that than this, which is more than a match for any love song in terms of quality, but has been unfairly forgotten because it wasn't "big name" enough.

Honorable Mention:
Amy Grant - Whatever It Takes
I'm cheating, because this song isn't from the 80s, it's from 1994, but every time I listen to it, I hear a love theme for an 80s romantic movie, so I'm including it anyways. Be warned, this is another "cheese dial to eleven" song. If that's your thing, you'll love it as much as I do. If not, oh well.

I'm thinking most people won't like these, but for the ones that do, you are not alone
Hope you enjoy
And may love ever favor the lovers ❤️

I grew up in the 80's and remember none of those bands except Reo Speedwagon, Amy Grant, America, and Journey. One-hit wonders? Didn't even chart in the Billboard Hot 100? Whatever the reason that's probably why they are underrated.
