According to a recent studies, saying "According to recent studies" any statement turns bullshit into something serious. Of course woman-man friendship is possible. Yes might not have the same interests but we still know how to behave with each other.
I feel men and women can be friends if you have no attraction for each other, but once you have dated I feel that you cannot be friends. I've experienced this on both situations before
Eh, my first boyfriend is one of my best friends now. We didn't speak to each other for months at first, but we eventually got past our issues and are just as good of friends as we were before we dated. I guess I should mention that we've known each other for 15 years and were close before we dated, but our friendship isn't sexual at all.
Eh, I be friended a 50 year old lady a long time ago and we were always just friends. I had a relationship with a Cuban girl for 8 year, we lived together. When it ended we tried for such a long time to be friends and that was never possible
I guess it depends on the person then. It was awkward between my ex and I for awhile, but now there's no awkwardness at all. I was also close with him before we ever dated, which may have an effect on things as well.
@lord_chilled I doubt it. We never had sex in the first place and are both still virgins with very low sex drive. The most intimate he's ever been is by hugging and rocking me.
@lord_chilled Lol no, that would run him off. He is extremely timid and shy. The girlfriend after me that he ended up breaking up with did that and he refused.
@lord_chilled I don't know, maybe so. I've always just chalked it up to that we are both very low sex drive people. The boyfriend I had after him was trying to pressure me into sex as well, but I didn't want to do it because I didn't feel ready yet and I found out later that I just didn't have those kind of feelings for him and ended up breaking up with him. I'm not sure if it was the same situation with my first ex and his second girlfriend or not, but we both have tended to be late bloomers in many aspects as well.
@aWes0MeNeSs yeah thats okay. And i see that womens sex drives are more complicated than mens and can changeva lot. However mens drive is supposed be consistent and somewhat strong or at least decent. I started to have feelings that were kinda sexual around 11-13 years i think.. Became full on crazy about it ever since i was 14. If he is 21, and still has no libido, i think he may not be producing enough hormones. Im not sure if that is healthy.
If he is just shy and a bit insecure about being sexual, but still wants it actually, then its ok. But if he doesn't want it at all, then maybe it should just be pointed out to have his levels checked. Maybe there are no negative effects, but since its not usual for guys, maybe it may be a bit bad. I font know too much about it
I am going through a breakup right now and she insists on still being "friends". I told her no. Because there is a spark of attraction there. We will end up sleeping with each other and I will not have that temptation in my life.
Well I am more like a dude than a chick. I have ONE female friend to our group of 8. And we're both tomboys who are more capable than most of the guys in the group at doing "manly" things.
I have very few friends. The trait I value most is loyalty, so I'm extremely selective about who I become friends with. I don't have any female friends, just acquaintances. Make of that what you will.
I know a proverb about this topic "Fire and powder can't stay together" by the way what is your opinion. According to you can men and women be friends?

I have both kinds of friends... "Girl" friends and "Guy" friends. But not all my "Guy" friends are guys and not all my "Girl" friends are girls.
I'm bi so if I didn't hang out with people who are the gender I'm attracted to I wouldn't have friends lol.

@aWes0MeNeSs he still wants to fuck you tough
@lord_chilled I doubt it. We never had sex in the first place and are both still virgins with very low sex drive. The most intimate he's ever been is by hugging and rocking me.
@aWes0MeNeSs
he's a virgin? ok, now I can guarantee that he wants to. if you don't belive me, text him that you wanna do him and see the response
@lord_chilled Lol no, that would run him off. He is extremely timid and shy. The girlfriend after me that he ended up breaking up with did that and he refused.
@aWes0MeNeSs what?
well then he needs to get his test. levels checked, because that is not normal for a healthy young man

@lord_chilled Yeah, that makes sense.
I am going through a breakup right now and she insists on still being "friends". I told her no. Because there is a spark of attraction there. We will end up sleeping with each other and I will not have that temptation in my life.

so basically you are pitting it as with the guys its masculine time and with your female friends its your feminine side that is more tuned up?
Men and women have completely different definitions of "friendship," so this is a stupid comparison.
Most women, the way they treat their "friends," I wouldn't treat my worst enemy that bad.
So, are you calling people with opposite friends liars then? It can and does happen.
I have very few friends. The trait I value most is loyalty, so I'm extremely selective about who I become friends with. I don't have any female friends, just acquaintances. Make of that what you will.

Study? it doesn't represent a true 100 percent belief maybe in a fickle western society.
According to a study lead by Unit1, he doesn't give a fuck what other inaccurate and obviously untrue studies have to conclude. :)
Men have better friendships than women
It seems to me that way sometimes too - because it's effortless and has a child-like purity about it. =)
Men and women were made together to fuck... simple as.
Women and Men Can't Be Friends... According to my Penis
I call BS. I know for a fact that I wouldn't want to sleep with any of my female friends.
no one can be around a woman for long if their not fucking her, including other women
If I was friends with a guy I highly doubt he would be attracted to me.
That's true, I agree, very interesting Take :)
Something like an "amorous friendship" exists.
