A lot of the times, a girl that usually wears makeup wears it for a reason. If she doesn't wear it in front of you, it means that she is uber comfortable with you and trusts you to see her "real" self. Guys probably inherently realize that.

IMHO men mostly don't want us to wear makeup, because they are tired of waiting for us to get ready. Hair shouldn't be styled for the very same reason too.

@kep79 While it's true that abusers like insecure women, they could just as well give their women shit for wearing makeup (because only insecure women wear makeup and they want 'strong' women.. read: women who will do everything they want them to do).

Also I could argue that jealous/insecure guys don't like the confidence makeup can give women. There are studies and YouTube videos out there that proves many men will treat a women better who dresses up, does her hair and makeup.. even giving them free stuff like coffee and taxi rides. Jealous/insecure guys can't deal with the attention their girls get and feel threatened, are scared the chance is much higher that she might cheat or leave him for another one..

I can tell you that I'm attracted to women that dress to show their body, but I'm repulsed by women with make-up and hair that doesn't look natural.

Makeup enhances the beauty you already have. Any professional makeup artist will tell you that
Make up is also used for special occasions like wearing the proper clothing for a dress code. It can be done out of respect. If someone is getting married or are going to a wedding makeup should be worn for the occasion

Women constantly talk about wanting a "real man" but are fake from head to toe. Fake hair, nails, eye color, tits, face, etc.

Well, it's always controversial whenever men think that everything women do is to please the eyes of men (that is influenced by beauty industry only and not truly representing what men want) and thus tell us here we really shouldn't wear any because that's what they want most.. as if I give a shit what kep79 thinks of me.

Well a lot of the fashion/beauty industry is controlled run by gay men so they might not be representin what straight men want. Also they just want to make money and they do that by making people feel inadequate and they offer their products to cure the inadequacy that they gave you.

As far as whether girls should wear make up its simple

If a girl wants to wear makeup then by all means, wear makeup

If a girl doesn't want to then don't

I'd definiyley agree with the term ARTIST, as in there is an art to applying it in a way that looks good. It takes skill to really do it right.

Personally I think makeup is great if used correctly to "enhance" a girls natural beauty. Like blush, eyeshadow, conturing can really look good. However when it isn't done properly or if it's overdone I think it has the opposite effect.

I don't know, that's just my opinion tho. Like I said a girl can do whatever she wants to her own face but my preference is STRATEGICALLY applied makeup in moderation.

sure, badly done makeup is bad, but well done makeup is mad skill! personally, I don't wear much makeup, but when I'm really really bored I like to watch YouTube videos and try to transform myself into something/someone else.. just to see how mad my skills are xD

no, my skills suck, only one person could guess which celebrity I was trying to look like. mostly, I can't even do what the YouTube beauty guru suggested because I don't even own those stuff she used xD

there are plenty of tutorials for baking too haha.. plus I don't enjoy making videos or public speech.

Yeah I don't really like public speaking either and you've right about the competition on YouTube. There's A LOT of beauty channels, not sure about cooking tho. Maybe if you train your croissant making skills you could take YouTube by storm. Ooh and maybe even open a small diner that sells croissants and tea :)
