Why is she angry that I left without saying goodbye?

I went to keep this girl company when she was by herself. Then I left as soon as her other friends arrived.

I thought she wasn't paying much attention to me so I just left without saying goodbye. I got a message from her a few minutes later and she complained how I left without saying goodbye and that she was mad.

I like her a lot... and she admitted to a mutual friend of our's that I am her bf. HOWEVER, we are not officially in a relationship.

You should say sorry, and explain to her why you didn't say goodbye. I understand where the girl is coming from. The guy I like does the same thing; I don't get mad at him though. Always say goodbye. I don't know why you must, but it's like necessary. Like then shed be like wow where did he go? Did I do something? Does he not like me? Girls overthink EVERYTHING.

She sounds like she likes you and was glad you came to keep her company but was upset because you didn't say goodbye to her. Next time just say goodbye. Just tell her sorry and that it got so busy when her friends came over, that you didn't want to interrupt. :)

It's a big deal..it will lead to assumptions like 'maybe he doesn't care anymore' etc. apologize, if appropriate tell her you feel the same , and say goodbye next time :p
