I'd accept "bae" in a humorous way like if he was just playing. But I honestly dislike that word. My mom and her boyfriend called each other "Bae,"before it even became a trend... and he was 50.. eh. I'd rather my boyfriend call me,"Beauty, Lover, Sweetheart, Love, etc."Stuff like that. You can never get annoyed if he calls you that a million times, that's just annoying.

I know I'd accept baby, babe, and sweet heart etc.. but if he calls me bae but not in a playful way, I hate it, but my very close friends, I only call them bae not a lot but sometimes

The only way I use the term "bae" is if I'm talking to my girlfriends and I'm being sarcastic/joking around. If a guy seriously called me "bae" I would tell him to stop haha

If someone called me that, I would instantly tell them not to call me that and ask them if they need help with their English and do they need a speech therapist. I doubt I would ever date someone that says it cuz they are most likely very lazy. Its strange how such little things like being to lazy to say the second B in babe spills over into all aspects of life.
