In an emergency could you physically carry your boyfriend/husband to safety?

A lot of chicks say they can but I'm a guy, I can bench/squat over 300, and I personally know that carrying a fellow man (even under 200lbs) is no simple task, especially if it's more than a few feet.

The problem is not the weight, it's how the weight is distributed. You can't get all the center of mass in one localized area, so your body works extra hard to stabilize. A situp motion for instance doesn't account for you moving from left to right.

I think it might be possible for a very fit girl to carry a man twice to herself, but that's assuming the terrain is easy to cover, the man is short and stout without a weird shape, and he isn't moving from pain or a seizure.

I know this may seem odd for this day and age but, for me? I would gladly... I repeat gladly give my life to protect the woman I love. It isn't even a question to me or a point of contention.

Yes I think if my andrenaline was rushing I could do it. I have physically picked up my ex off the bed without him touching the floor and he was 160 pounds.

Absolutely. I've actually been trained on emergency stuff so I'm a little better mentally equipped to haul a 200 lb guy around than some folks.

Yeah. I would be able to. I'm generally too strong for a woman but even if I didn't have the ability to lift him I would find a way.

Im single ( or forever alone..) right now. But I haven't been able, to carry any of my ex boyfriends. Maybe I could drag him to safety? If the adrenaline was pumping, then I think I could drag him.
