Would you be loyal without a title?

say you're just talking to someone, not dating, not in a commitment or official but you do date. are you going to be faithful and loyal to them, and in turn do you expect that out of them?

personally i wont. i'm a free agent until i have a contract. we can like each other, but if you know i like you and want to be your gf then snatch me off the market before someone else does. i'm not gonna turn down other options if you wont.

I'm a one woman at a time type of guy. I like to let things play out naturally without the interruption of other people. Women seem to want you more when you have someone else so I could mess things up with new girl but playing around with the old girl or others. Besides, what happens if you have sex with multiple people over a few days. Spontaneous screwing is one thing, but two different growing emotional attachments conflicting with each other. That no lifestyle, that's just asking for trouble. So, yeah I am as faithful to the woman I'm just dating (even as a first date) as I would be my girlfriend until I figure out that she could not be my girlfriend. Once that happens, it's whatever and I'm pretty much like NEXT.

It depends. If it's someone I'm just starting to get to know and/or I'm not sure how much I like him yet then I wouldn't stop myself from dating other people if there were also others I was interested in. If it was someone I knew a little bit better or I just knew I really liked him a lot then I wouldn't really want to pursue anything else. In either case I wouldn't expect him to not date other people, we're not exclusive after all. But if I decided that I really liked him and wanted to be exclusive after awhile then I would certainly carry out that conversation and either lock things down or move on if he doesn't feel the same.

I think I might be loyal if I was seriously in love with the guy I was dating. Just because I wouldn't consider other guys. But otherwise... probably not. And I wouldn't expect that from the other either. I agree with you.

If I know it's going somewhere serious, then I will be completely loyal, whitout a doubt. But if it's just some flirt that I don't really know what to do with, then I will be like, 80% loyal or so.
