I have gotten many comments and questions about my female friend. People see us as being a couple. Ask how often we... Invite us places... But we have never discussed "us". Are we a couple and don't even know it?

We went into the mall yesterday and walked into a furniture store. I knew she had been looking at getting a new bed. We knew the salesman from our work. He asks what we are looking for in a bed.

As for why people might assume. Well some people have great chemistry, I have that with a few girls. Doesn't necessarily mean I am dating them, for complicated practical, life reasons, namely that they are taken. But I would if they weren't.
