Don't quite understand why people have to be mean about it... I asked if we looked like a couple not judge me on my appearance.

It's called a birth defect that I'm going through long term treatment for!

I should add, we are from the UK but this picture was taken all the way in Hawaii. It was just us two that went.

to be honest, not really. but its because of the way this picture is taken. its not intimate, its just like "lets take a selfie!" kind of thing aha, if it was a more intimate pose then yeah you would look like a couple

The picture was taken on our first official day in Hawaii and we were both excited but hungry so the photo was a 'in a rush' sort of thing. I was about to take my own selfie then he just appeared behind me xD

Hm, potentially! I wouldn't automatically assume you guys were a couple, I would wonder though! I think people often think couple pictures are ones where there's kissing or close faces or hand around each other etc.

Personally when it comes to taking pictures, I prefer to keep them PG... I've known couples to post pictures of themselves kissing but that just isn't my style. I'm more private about intimate stuff, I mean I still hold his hand in public and kiss but just don't take pictures but there are plenty of other pictures where we are closer together :)

Wow so many people being harsh to my fiancee just because she has a unique look.

Very shallow petty people, a lot of them going on anon -- I'm willing to bet my wedding savings that all of them are single and can't even get a second date with their shitty personalities.

She's so lovely and sweet, honest -- we have known each other a long time and she's the only person who stuck around during my kidney failure and cancer when everybody else didn't even bother with me.

I honestly don't mind the comments in which they say we look more like siblings or close friends or that I look under the age of 18... don't bother me, zilch, nada. It's the ones that basically say he's out of my league or that I'm the one chasing him just because I have a unique appearance.

I explain why I look like that in my description, facial birth defect but yet because I'm not some hot babe then it seems like I am not acceptable to be his fiancee.
But at end of day, he could have any girl that he wants, probably someone prettier or whatnot but he chose me! Of course he makes me feel like I am the most beautiful girl in the world or at least he tries haha
He's had girlfriends before me but according to him, I'm the only one who would go to the ends of the earth for him. We were just friends when he got kidney failure and he needed a new kidney, I was willing to give up my own kidney to him but I wasn't the same blood type as him.
