Why is he suddenly avoiding eye contact with me?

There's this guy at the gym I manage, I thought he liked me bc for weeks now he would tease me, make fun of me, find random reasons to talk to me, show off in front of me by calling me over to watch him do something silly, call my name for no reason, stand close to me, get in my space, lean in when talking, try to sound smart when talking and make a point to tell me he's different from the other guys who workout here. That he is not all muscle and no brains.

Yesterday he was with his friend and as they were leaving his friend was asking me questions but the guy i like just stared at the floor avoiding eye contact (when he's normally talkative). Then today, I was in my office (i was doing paper work) and the guy calls out my name "Katie hey!"I look up and he doesn't look at me. Then I had to come out of my office to get something and his friend starts asking me what my hours are and if I got the bike we were talking about a few weeks ago and the guy i liked just kept his head down at the floor AGAIN! This time he did say "You can be cool like us if you get a bike" and he smiles and laughs but kept his head down the entire time and would NOT look at me! He would laugh & smile softly at things I was saying but not look up. Meanwhile his friend was all friendly and casual. What gives? I was certain he liked me

Also - I've been told I'm a very beautiful woman everyone tells me I look a lot like Mila Kunis and Miranda Kerr yet guys act weird around me :(

Unless he is socially awkward, he is still interested. Most people tend to ignore their crush when they talk to people. And the reason is simple.

You want to know the secret as to why guys are scared to approach women? It's not because of fear of rejection, but because we don't want the girl to think we have a crush on them when it's obvious all the time. So him not making eye contact would probably mean he is testing to see if you are going to treat him the same way or differently.

What I mean by differently or the same is how you treat him. He is seeing if he purposely tries to avoid eye contact with you, if you're going to do anything about it or continue with your day. Clearly it's working because you made a question on GAG. I couldn't really give any advice because I myself am stuck in the same situation with a girl, ironically enough at my gym too and we used to make eye contact frequently and now she purposely doesn't look at me. So it's kind of hard to give advice being I'm in the same situation.

thanks, i think ill just try starting a conversation with him next time. Well if she's anything like me and before she was showing signs of interest and flirting with you and now suddenly she can't look you in the eye? That generally means she's been thinking a lot about you and in her mind maybe put herself out there by showing interest. Now because you haven't spoken to her or made some kind of a move she doesn't want to seem too obvious. Also girls do not like to seem aggressive so instead we'll back off - sometimes too much. Overcompensating for what we really feel inside
