it takes a special certain type of girl with a certain type of style to be able to pull off a pixie cut not many can do it without looking like a lesbian if you can look like this: www.facebook.com/photo.php
CUT IT! If that is what you want. All the 72 guys and 68 girls saying "don't cut your hair" aren't going to date you. AND if a guy doesn't date you because you have short hair then you guys shouldn't be dating because that's what you want. Don't base your hair cut on how it will effect other. As long as you like it that's all that matters. If you really want that pixie cut PLEASE get it. I have a friend with a pixie cut and she gets plenty of guys attention (if you were curious).
It's horrendous generally. Makes them look like a boy or a lesbian. I was just going to say that very few girls look good with them but they look a million times better with longer hair and I was going to use Emma Watson as an example of that. Then I decided to Google her with a pixie and I'm going back to it looking horrendous. She couldn't pull it off either. After it grew back a bit (but was still short) it looked fine though.
Do it because that's what you want to do. I cut my hair short when everyone told me to leave it long. I don't give a damn whether or not a guy will like it and I was even informed of this before i cut it. I'm supposed to be meeting up with a guy who was a childhood friend and who is now a male model. But I just don't give a fuck cause I don't care and it's my hair and my body. You got the wrong attitude about it girl.
Seriously, don't listen to any of the guys' answers on here. I was told the same thing by guys when I mentioned that I was going to cut my hair. You know what? I still get looked at by guys. SHOCKER
I am with DodgersGM on this one. I find it very rare that it actually looks as good as women think it will. Usually, in my opinion, the woman needs to have a very slight build to pull it off. From what I've noticed, on women with anything more than a 5'3, 100lb frame (like I said REALLY small) the pixie cut tends to make the head and neck look unusually small in proportion to her body. Unless, you're a gymnast, or a figure skater, I probably wouldn't call it a win. But that's just me.

why guys why do you not like it? pixie cut is the sexiest style... bold girls do it, it's a manifesto... it's getting very trendy too... check out www.girlsaskguys.com/.../a9024-13-women-who-rock-the-pixie-cut guys should like pixie cut... if they don't they should start liking it... taste in food, drinks, and women is like a muscle... you need to work on it to grow
Hmm... I'm a guy who prefers it somewhere midway (but towards the short end) between long hair and sorta pixie cut length.
I dunno. I mean, I like it for uhh... reasons?
But yeah. Short hair's awesome. Go apeshit :) (I picked A).

Depends on the face. Some women can pull it off but some women (like me) looks awful with one. If you're beautiful than you'll likely look gorgeous with a pixie cut. There are some makeover websites where you can play around with different hairstyles. Just Google them and see if you can find a good one. You upload your own picture and play around with it.

Men like feminine look yes, but some have their hair pixie-cut, but still they look super feminine. You have to focuse on your face, apply eye liner, wear small earrings..
Give it a try, your hair will eventually grow long, and you will know how it feels to have a pixie a cut xD
Some of the prettiest girls I can think of me ever liking actually had shorter hair, so in my opinion I think if you feel it would look good on you then why not? Just my opinion not hate
I prefer short hair, actually. I don't know, I like cute girls and short hair is just that. If your hair is just right, then I might just fall in love with your face (ok sounds a bit weird, but no less true).
If you really want it, don't let the opinions of random guys stand in the way. With that being said, I love long hair. I mean it's beautiful and silky and I love to brush a girls hair out of her face before I kiss her. But that's just my opinion.
Who cares what other people think. It's whether you feel pretty or not. You said you liked how it looked on you so cut it off! If you change your mind you can always get extensions until it grows back.
You have to try it to see. It will grow back, if things go amiss. Guys should like you for you, not your hair style, unless it looks really butch. I usually like it.
What is a pixie cut? I have seen some women look really good with shorter hair, but why would you want a guy that shallow anyways who can only date your for having long hair?
some people are going to love it and others aren't it's a cruel world but that's the way it is. if u want to cut it all off go for it I mean it's just hair it will grow back. pull off ur wonderful new hair be your self and love ur style. so my opinion is do u I got a pixie cut and love it. and if your ready try something new I'm sure u will be beautiful for being u. don't let all the comments tell u other wise. love u peeps hope all the other comments didn't bring u down
I think that you should tots do that! Don't give a damn about guys! Do what you wan't! If you love the guy and you think that he won't like it, then get it still! If he really loves you he would love you for whoever you are, even if you're bold!. Make yourself happy! And if pixy is the real you? Then you will find an amazing guy who will love you!
I had this same dilemma a while back. I cut my hair from waist length to shoulder to chin to shaggy pixie. The guy that I had a crush on really liked it, without me even mentioning it I might add, and proceeded to touch my hair and say it was cute. I say go for it, but maybe take it in steps.
I have a pixie cut and it's great, easy to style and everyone that I know seems to like it, but you have to be really confident and kinda have a kick ass attitude about it because that is kind of what makes a pixie cut more attractive. If you cut it you can always grow it back out or get extensions but you should take your body shape and your face shape as well as your facial features into consideration.
