Usually the more I get to know a guy the LESS I like him. People don't show their true colors or nature unless you've known them in intimate situations were they feel confortable enough to let their guard down and stop putting up an act to try to get you to like them. That question depends on the two people and how well the two get along and if they can be them selves around each other and know each others bad habits and deep dark secrets and fetishes. That's a hard one for me. I'd fall in lust at first sight then in love gradually with time, considering I'd be able to tolerate his TRUE self.
It depends on who I like more as a person. I usually take a long time to develop feelings for someone anyway. I have a lot of friends who tell me every month about a guy or girl they like "so freaking much" but for me, it usually takes several months or longer.

It is not the pace its the quality of conversation and connection. You can have a really flirty guy just catch your attention right away but then have they guy who doesn't make himself available all the time but when he does its like time never went by. Then the girl is anxiously waiting to talk to the guy who makes her heart beat and understands her rather than flirt. The connection is important
